During our recent travels to Sylacauga and Birmingham for Jonah’s baseball games… we took a tour to see Rick and Bubba in their new studio. I won’t say how we got to meet them (it embarrassed my timid family) but they were really cool.

Here we are shown on their Webcam in the back row…

More pics in the Google Web Album.
Still playing baseball, Sam’s All Star team went down in 3 games in the 9-10 District 8 Championship. Sam played fantastically. Very tough at catcher.

Jonah’s team won the District 8 Championship. They are currently playing in the State Championship in Sylacauga.
I moved the Putterpage.com to bluehost this past week.
Things are a bit out of whack.
Happy Holidays 2007!
The Smythe PR Engine welcomes Flick! to our household.
Flick! is an 11 week old adoptee from New Leash on Life.

Zoe and Flick! get along well, though Zoe often attempts to see how many licks it takes to get to the middle of a kitty pop.
Jonah is 11!

Jonah is pictured with his cousins. Lauren, Tesla, Inna, Heather and Curie.
On Friday, October 19, 2007 Putter passed on.
He had been having health issues for some time. He lived to be almost 16 years old.
While Putter was a grumpy cat to pretty much all but Wendy and I, Jonah and Sam had made headway with him and loved him very much.
He and I shared a bowl of ice cream the night before he passed.
He is survived by his family, his fans, and a big mutt named Zoe. A memorial has been placed in the yard.
The Putterpage will continue.
There’s a funny picture of him if you click the Putter Category link to the right.
His main page is still available here: Putter’s Page
Jonah’s All Star Team won the 2007 Huntsville City AAA championship! Jonah threw a no hitter through 4 innings last night. He threw shutout baseball through 4 2/3rds when was pulled because he had thrown his allotment of pitches (75).
Way to go Jonah!

It was a rough week with rainouts and reschedules and lots of emotion. We need a vacation!
Sam update! Sam’s team unfortunately came up flat in a game earlier in the week and was knocked out of his tournament. Sam was their cleanup hitter and played very, very well. I really thought we were going to come up with two champions this year as his team was very good.
Way to go Sam!
